THE ADVENTURES OF NANNY PIGGINS
by R.A. Spratt Mr. Green needs a nanny for his three children, and he is too cheap to put a help-wanted ad in the newspaper. Nanny Piggins sees the sign in the Green’s yard and is accepted immediately when she says she’ll work for 10 cents an hour. What Mr. Green doesn’t know is that Nanny is a former circus pig whose favorite food is chocolate and whose favorite activity is fun—like taking a boat to China for Chinese take-out food. A porcine Mary Poppins meets Nanny McPhee is this hilarious, action-packed story. This book is a great family story to share, or it can be read independently by children ages 8 and up.
